Build
Use the docs, PCB files, firmware, and component list to assemble, test, and improve the system.
Every important part of Veetr is open: firmware, app source, PCB design, enclosure direction, and documentation. That matters because a sailor should be able to understand, repair, and adapt the instrument instead of being locked into a vendor.
The hardware uses standard modules and parts: ESP32, ultrasonic wind sensor, IMU, GPS, RS485 interface, connectors, and a custom breakout PCB. Builders can source components directly, manufacture or order the PCB, print or adapt an enclosure, and flash the firmware locally.
This is still an early hardware project, so building requires patience and comfort with electronics. The docs are the source of truth, and community feedback is part of how the design becomes better.

Open hardware gives you freedom, but finished hardware you assemble is your responsibility. Check the docs, use the right parts, and verify safety before use on the water.
